 Paul Lewis

Paul Lewis started painting in Italy and Greece, and taught watercolour painting in Greece for many years. Between 1990 and 2004 he exhibited in London - mainly monoprints and often inspired by Indian Art from the British Museum. He also made abstract works inspired by what he saw in the Museum, working in oils and acrylic as well. His work often blurs the boundaries between figurative and abstract. He then moved to Wiltshire where he has continued to paint and exhibit with periods working abroad. Ikaria and Westonbirt Arboretum have both inspired recent paintings.
