Jo is based in Malmesbury, Wiltshire but often works in different locations. She learnt and adapted the skills she uses for her artwork at a City and Guilds course in tiling in 2013. Working with tiles and china along with other materials and found/bought objects, she creates intricate pieces which are grouted and sometimes etched; not painted as you might imagine. Her current series is inspired by album cover art and her love and knowledge of music. She has an intuitive and clever way of bringing words, culture and imagery together in her work which strikes a chord with people.
